It was really awesome. We were out in the boat pulled in and docked and had lunch there. Waitress was great. The mini beers were amazing. Food was really good although the onion rings were not the best.

We really enjoyed coming here! I suggest checking their Facebook page for updated hours and openings. Google says they are open, but they are closed for the season. We were going to stop by today after visiting Pere Marquette. We look forward to visiting in the spring!

What a great day beautiful weather my kind of beautiful people just regular folks out enjoying their lives as a born and bred German, one of if not the best pretzels I've ever eaten and I'm eating them all over Germany and a pretty doggone good brat too don't remember the last brat I had that was that good. Can't say enough good things if you're wondering was 30 minutes from my business right in the heart of St Charles across the Golden eagle ferry or even easier if the Winfield ferry is running and you can look that up on Google. Google maps or Waze got its right to the door we enjoyed a couple of drinks nice company our server couldn't have been a nicer Young duck hunter the owner and everybody that worked there was nice to a couple of old guys that happened to find a gem and get out for the day. If you're looking for something to do the peaches are supposed to be good this year and start coming around the end of June and trust me if you make the trip to pirates you'll be back God bless you guys thanks for a nice day. Let me just start off by saying our server, Courtney, was amazing! We did have to wait a while before an opening large enough for our boat at the dock came available. Dave, the owner was engaging and a joy to talk to. I had the patty melt, which was very good. Overall, the food and cocktails were delicious. It's a great place on the river with an amazing view of the sunset. The river needed a place like this. Get out and visit this little treasure on the river!
